Although the churchyard is closed, close to where we had a dovecot in the churchyard, there is an area which is dedicated to the interring of ashes. A memorial stone for it was dedicated here on 30th Sept 2016 when Fr John Wall became Rector at Holy Cross.

The memorial stone has the following inscription on it:

Remember before God all whose ashes are interred here
Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life”
