Crafty Ladies

The Crafty Ladies formed some years ago primarily to provide craft items for the Christmas Bazaar.
The Bazaar is a biennial event and in the intervening years it was decided to support a Christian Charity based in Suffolk called Tools with a Mission (TWAM) which enables people to earn a living and to support themselves.
In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid dependency to self sufficiency is impossible without help. TWAM started 23 years ago to address this problem by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required in the UK and sending them overseas.
The Crafty Ladies have collected numerous sewing machines and tools from local people and knitted babies vests and children’s tops to TWAM patterns.
Anyone interested in the items required by them may check the
TWAM website.
The Crafty Ladies usually meet monthly when they arrange their next meeting which is announced in the Grapevine (the Church’s weekly newsletter).
