Our worship is probably best described as ‘central’ but with an emphasis on Holy Communion which forms a central part of most of our services.  Everyone is warmly invited to attend the service or services which suit you across our churches within the Plurality.

For those services at Holy Cross, we normally serve tea and coffee in the Belmont Centre after Parish Communion and Open Doors.  You are invited to join us and will be made very welcome.

Sunday morning starts at 8.00am at Holy Cross which is a said communion service in traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer.

Parish Communion services at 9.30am at Holy Cross is taken from Common Worship and is accompanied by mostly traditional hymns but with some more modern worship songs also.

Every Second Sunday of the month we have our Open Doors service at 10.00am which is an all age service with communion but with a slightly more contemporary feel and which features our Junior Church.

For the generalised list of services across all our churches, take a look at the Services section.

Junior Church is at 9.30am in the Belmont Centre while the Parish Communion Service is taking place.  The children join the main service just before communion. Junior Church on second Sundays are in church at 10.00am and are a mainstay of the Open Doors Service.

Choral or sung Evensong with Sermon is at 5.30pm on the second and fourth Sunday at Holy Cross and is taken from the Book of Common Prayer.
