OUR WORSHIP

Our worship is probably best described as ‘central’ but with an emphasis on Holy Communion which forms a central part of most of our services. You are most welcome to attend the service or services which suit you. We normally serve tea and coffee in the Belmont Centre after Parish Communion and you are invited to join us and will be made welcome.

During COVID19, please check out our PODCAST SERVICE. This is available on our Facebook page and on our YouTube channel.

The first of our services on a Sunday morning starts at 8.00am and is a said communion service in traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer.

Our usual Parish Communion service at 9.30am is taken from Common Worship and is accompanied by mostly traditional hymns but with some more modern worship songs also.

Every Second Sunday we have our Open Doors service at 10.00am which is an all age service with communion but with a slightly more contemporary feel and which features our Junior Church.

Junior Church is at 9.30am in the Belmont Centre while the Parish Communion Service is taking place and they join the main service just before communion. Junior Church on second Sundays are in church at 10.00am and are a mainstay of the Open Doors Service.

Evensong with Sermon is at 5.30pm every Sunday and is taken from the Book of Common Prayer.
