Holy Cross holds All Souls' Day (November 2nd) services in early November to commemorate the "faithful departed" and offers a time for prayer and remembrance.

  • Remembrance: The services provide a space to remember loved ones who have passed away, whether recently or long ago.
  • Prayer: Attendees pray for those who have died, with the belief that life and love continue beyond death.
  • Commemoration: Often, the names of those who have died in the past year are read out, and candles are lit to remember them.
  • Comfort: These services offer comfort and a chance to find solace in community, especially for those who may have been unable to attend a funeral.

Each year, a request sheet is made available at the back of the church a Couple of weeks before the service in order for you to write the name of a loved one that you would like read out during the service.
