Nine Lessons and Carols," also known as "A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols," is a traditional Christmas Eve service held in Anglican churches. At Holy Cross this is normally celebrated the Sunday before Christmas Day in the evening. It features nine Bible readings, or "lessons," interspersed with Christmas carols and other musical pieces. This service tells the story of the promise of the Messiah and the birth of Jesus.

Details of when the Carol service is held will be announced in The Grapevine and on Social Media at the appropriate time.
The Carol Service is supported by our Church Choir and we often have additional singers come and join us.
